Conferences give us new ideas and strategies plus opportunities to network (and fun swag!). How do you decide what conference is for you? First, consider your goals. Then, think about your students’ needs. Finally, what excites you? We know you don’t have a ton of time to research, so in chronological order, here are 20 education conferences you won’t want to miss in 2022.

A free virtual series? Yes, please! The Teachers College of Columbia and Candlewood Press are hosting this event to highlight Black authors and illustrators’ works. You’ll learn about each author’s work and how to use it in your classroom.

Each year at the CEC Convention & Expo, thousands of special education professionals from around the world come together to learn, share, grow, and connect. With hundreds of sessions on just about every topic in the field, you’ll find research, tips, and strategies you can actually apply to supporting students with disabilities and/or gifts and talents.

Want to learn about how to focus on “every student, everyday”? This conference is for you!

NCTM’s regional conferences give math teachers a chance to work together. Guided by the program theme “Refocus, Rejoice, and Reunite,” they plan to bring the math community together to network, exchange ideas and connect with professionals from across the country.

DLAC celebrates K-12 digital learning practitioners, researchers, and policymakers; learn from each other; and share best (and worst!) practices in this new and innovative conference.

This conference will combine COVID lessons learned with the Science of Learning to create a new “Science of Teaching” to improve education. The NSBA 2022 Annual Conference & Exposition is the one national event that brings together education leaders to learn about best governance practices, gain insight into child development and learn about new programs and technology that can help enrich student learning.
