GCSE results day 2022 – what next?

It’s been a strange year for GCSE students, particularly those students waiting for GCSE results day this summer. Students have had to battle with lockdowns, changes to exams, and isolation periods throughout the academic year. This, combined with the social and economic impacts of the pandemic, has resulted in many students reconsidering their plans since originally choosing their GCSE subjects.

So, whether you’re waiting for GCSE results day or you’re already researching your options, you’re probably wondering ‘what next?’. We’ve put together a summary of different options available to hopefully make answering that question a little easier.

And just because you’re studying from home, doesn’t mean you’re left alone! You’ll have support from your specialist tutor throughout your studies who will be available via email to answer any questions or offer any guidance you need during your studies.

You don’t need any specific grades at GCSE level to study your A Levels with us either, however, we do recommend that for some of the more technical A Levels such as Biology, Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, it would be helpful to have prior knowledge of the subject gained at GCSE level.
